Synopsis
The play follows the story of Jaggu and Loki, field workers searching for work. Along their journey, the bond of friendship and affection between them, their inseparable closeness, their dream of owning land, Loki’s occasional cruelty due to his semi-madness, the estate owner who offers them work, his son Sundar, and daughter-in-law Maya’s personal issues, the disabled Dugga with an old dog, the sweeper Chaniya, and the helplessness of fellow field workers like Suleiman and others, all culminate in a series of tragedies that bring the play to an end.
